A general framework is presented, which can be used to prove inequalities for general functions once the moment inequality for sums of independent random variables is established. We illustrate the power of the framework by showing how it can be used to derive novel concentration and moment inequalities for bounded, Bernstein's moment condition, weak-exponential, and polynomial-moment random variables.
